Finally got the Trackmaster done. It`s got a stock XL 250 Honda eng., MX250b front end, our favorite Progressives on the rear. Got the suspension balenced, had to go with 10wt on the front end. These MX front ends are as good as it gets and don`t cost an arm and a leg. Fortunately my friend that I bought it from bought a new Mikuni from Sudco for it. I had to go from a 120 mj to a 150mj and from a 25 pilot jet to a 30 and it runs fine. These projects that require tuning and suspension work are the funnest I do.

man I would like to turn a few laps on that, I've owned a few early '70's XL 250's, good little motors but drove like the trail bike it is, the TL motor is also very simmilar, and some parts are interchangable

Between this and my CZ I have 2 state of the art 250`s. The Honda motor is slow but I think I can momentum it with the handeling. In my class we are all slow.

I am a buddy of Dave Rymal and a fellow member of the Forum although I read more than I post...heres my bike, it's a 1970 YAMAHA AT1MX in a Trackmaster frame,which is lower,longer and lighter than stock ,MX250 front end assy,matching hi-shoulder rear alloy wheel laced to the stock hub with HD spokes,Skyway low pipe,and is raced on a regular basis,Thanks

Wow, both are gorgeous little bikes, my RM 370 should be out of the basement next week. I'll post some pics but it wont be as pretty as these. The tank on mine is a little ruff, but fine for racing. Jeff
