For anyone in the Michigan area that would like to ride or watch some vintage MX, here is our 08 schedule.

4/6 Bulldogs MC
5/4 Freelin MX
5/26 Log Road MX

7/27 Portland Trail Riders MC
8/17 Battle Creek MC
9/1 Log Road MX
9/14 Gratten MX
10/5 Dutch Sport Park
10/19 Red Bud MX
10/26 Baja Acres MX
Our classes are 1974 and older (Iron Man)
1981 and older (Evolution)
1989 and older (Innovation)
School boy 15 yrs and younger, 1994 and older 100/125cc
We are not slaves to the rules, for instance if you have an 82 or 83 YZ490 or CR480 we would let you ride Evolution class. In fact any year air cooled 4 stroke can ride in Innovation and if it has drum brakes front and rear we'll let it in Evolution. If anyone wants to know more feel free to ask. Jeff

This is a shot of me and my friend Ron Durupo before practice the morning of our first race 3/30/08. We both rode Iron Man last year and after 15 races finished 5 points apart. Ron's back wont let him ride the older bikes anymore, so we both moved to Evolution class. I finished 5th on this day with Ron 7th. One week later at round 2, I got 6th and Ron 7th. Another fun year underway[:-!] Our next vintage race is May 4th at Freelin.

The Michigan series will be at Log Road MX on Memorial Day. It is a few miles west of Coldwater, just south of M12 on as you might guess Log Road. This will also be an AHRMA race, so there will be a lot of nice bikes. Hope everyone has a nice holiday. Jeff

Cool Skydancer46, Look me up and introduce yourself. When you come in to the track on the in road you will first come to large open pit area. We usually pit in the trees to the right of that area. Look for bikes with No#354(me)839(my son) and 194(our freind Steve). Jeff
