Dschettler May possibly Own a Yamaha Enduro?

Default Introduction

Hey, guys, Deric here. The first bike that I ever learned to ride was my 1974 DT250 when I was 6. This is the bike that sparked my passion for motorcycles and I am hoping to get it restored in the next couple years. Looking forward to being part of these forums!

Default 73 dt250 rebuild

Hi everyone. I'm rebuilding a beautiful 73 dt250. I have the top end apart right now for a hone and piston/ring replacement. Where can I get a top end rebuild kit for the thing? All the rings I see online are for a 74+ and mine is a 73. Will 74 dt250 piston/rings fit a 73 dt250?

Thanks
-Calvin

Couldn't figure out how to post pics but it's a green 73, you've seen um

Hey everyone,

Just joined up here! Mostly built a '80 DT175 from a mishmash of parts for a friend, enjoyed it so much I picked one up!

Got this thing for a whopping $75!

Default Intro from Kentucky

Good morning, just found the site. We just picked up a 75 DT400 so started looking for Yamaha Enduro sites. Looks like a good one.

My wife and I are avid motorcyclist, and collect bikes and love it ride here is our current stable.

The 75 DT400 is out latest addition

Here a video of us getting it running for it's first ride, still needs some love but getting there
